 The Sermon on the Mount – A Sermon Like No Other Week Four – Righteousness and Happiness Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5) In this couplet Jesus begins to point the faithful to the How of true salvation. It yields His righteousness and the happiness that only believers inherit. This blessed focuses on true gentleness. This gentleness is not as the world would give. Being led by the Holy Spirit in life’s circumstance and experiences gives the believer God control and true contentment. Gentleness is a God given gift and lovely when displayed by true believers.
Truth Three: Gentleness God’s way is something the world needs to see and gives the Christian opportunities to practice His Righteousness. Blessings to all,
