Why Genesis?
Week 6

As a student of the Bible, I have had discussions with folks who have a variety of views of Creation. I was curious as well. The study of Scripture, research and the leading of the Spirit led me to discover a very subtle, deceptive and dangerous trend taking place that could - and has - harmed the very core of Biblical Christianity in our world today! I'm here to testify to the weakness of many Christians today because of the view they hold regarding our Creator God!

Creation is not a secondary issue in our Christian faith. It is essential to understand the true Biblical truths and faith that God addresses in His Holy Word! Creation holds so much of the foundation to what is being said in all of Scripture. Mixing theories throws a kink in all of the timing, progression, truth, prophesies and narratives of the Scriptures.

Theistic evolutionists believe God kind of launched everything, but then evolution took over. They deny God's account in Genesis 1 of six 24-hour days of creation.

Progressive creationists state a similar view that God did some creative work, along with evolution, along the way. Either way, it takes God out of what clearly is History! We need to guard the precious Word of God.
John 1:1-2 states:
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
