As the day approaches to celebrate the Gift of our Savior, I’m reminded once again of the lowliness of such an event. Where fanfare, choirs, celebrations and heart felt communions are performed and heralded, there still remains the humble and simple beckoning of a silent, starry night long ago in a small hamlet set against the backdrop of the holy city of Jerusalem some six miles away. Little Bethlehem, spoken of 100’s of years earlier ... became the epicenter of the founding our True Church.
Christ Jesus arrived on the earthly scene in a humble stable, birthed by peasants, under the stars of night in a perfectly planned time, set before the foundation of time! Holy is His Name. Messiah, Immanuel – God with us! Hallelujah! O Happy Day!
