Godly Wisdom - 2016
Week Twenty-One

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life... She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue... Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
Proverbs 31:10,11,26,30

The Book of Proverbs ends with a tribute to womanhood. Wisdom is of extreme value. The tribute comes from the sayings of King Lemuel and is said to be an oracle his mother taught him. Walking in Godly Wisdom is the hallmark of living in the will of God. The rewards are a true and lasting legacy to everyone surrounding her. The very thoughts, words and deeds of a Godly person radiate into their surroundings! This is the way of introducing a Godly heritage to our family and community. The final wisdom stanza points to the absolute and only true wisdom ... the fear of the Lord! (refer back to weeks 15-18).
Lord, help us to desire noble character, speaking Godly Wisdom and applying faithful instruction to our daily lives. Amen.
