Godly Wisdom - 2016
Week Nineteen

By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increases power. For by wise guidance you will wage war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. - Proverbs 24:3-6

The wisdom of God is precise and skilled. This proverb refers us back again to understanding and knowledge. He uses the metaphor of quality home building. It can be also applied to family life or any endeavor that is God productive. We see here that the only true harmony of godly living comes in seeking God's knowledge, understanding and counsel!
True influence in this life only comes through God and His Word! Being strong, powerful, victorious may seem to be worldly qualities but they are not! These qualities are only True in the Realm of God's divine Nature and they rest only on God's People through Jesus Christ. Mankind looks through a vacuum of sin. God's people see through the eyes of Christ. The difference is huge! Food for thought! Help us Lord to not be tricked into a worldly power struggle - help us live for You and have Your victory. Amen.
