A Faithful Witness - Week One Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not see. For by it (faith) the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3 Faithful witnesses give active testimony in active live demonstration of the true Word of God. A phrase that is used among some Christians is: God said it, I believe it, and that’s that! Though that can be true, a more accurate statement is this: God said it and that’s that! No matter what man may say or think, God is the Authority and His Word speaks for Him! He is the Author and He is the distributor of this true faith. For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8. (See Ephesians 3:17) Our salvation comes by the grace and mercy of God. (See John 1:12-13) Faithful witnesses are those who live faithful lives in the true faith of God alone in Christ Jesus. We will see more next week.
