I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone
and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

This hymn by Charles Wesley would emphasize salvation and a personal walk in Christianity. So many songs are his inspiration. He wrote over 6,500 hymns. Many we all know and love. Wesley was born in Lincolnshire, England in 1707.

O For A Heart To Praise My God

O for a heart to praise my God, A heart from sin set free,
A heart that always feels Thy blood so freely shed for me.

A heart in every thought renewed and full of love divine;
Perfect and right and pure and good, a copy, Lord, of Thine!

Thy nature, gracious Lord, impart; Come quickly from above.
Write Thy new name upon my heart, thy new, best name of Love.
